Buck not going for the doe

Today is my first breeding of my Satin rabbits. My doe is about 7 or 8 months and my buck is about 10 months old, he seems to not want to mount the doe. He tried once but was didn't breed successfully (its his first time so I didn't think anything of it) I've brought her to his cage about 3...

    Velvet Lions? Really??

I don't see the purpose in them, honestly. I get cross breeding, once I get finances sort out and build up a nice shed for my bunnies I plan on attempting to create something new (not going into details right now) but its got a point to it. Creating a smaller Angora type rabbit rabbit for easier...

    mini lops vs. holland lops

This is going on my experiences with both breeds. I find that Hollands are usually sweeter and more reserved, every mini lop I've ever met is adorable and quirky but if your looking for a calm loving bunny I would get a Holland. I love them both though, they are excellent rabbits all around...

This is the first I've heard of the breed, but looking at pictures I can already tell that they are adorable and I want one, lol.

    I got a new bunny

She's blowing her coat bad you guys, so thats why she looks fluffier in the face and less fur in her body. She looked really fluffy when I saw her in the cage and I picked her up a bunch of fur fell out because they hadn't been grooming her, she is big too. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have...

    Building your own cages

I'm going to start breeding mini rexes again and I'm wondering about building my own cages, would it be cheaper than buying cages? Also if anyone has any good links for how to guides that would be great :)

    Restarting a rabbitry

Okay well I'm not doing meat rabbits. I thought about it and I just wouldn't be able to handle it (i'm a vegetarian myself). I'm going to work on doing rarer colored Mini Rexes such as Tri's instead.

    I got a new bunny

Well, I heard someone in town was giving away an Angora rabbit, my mom is gaga for Angora's because she is a fiber artist and likes to use their wool. I went to this ladies house, she had I think 5 holland lops and this French Angora had the biggest cage in the corner. She was covered in hay and...

    Restarting a rabbitry

Well we had to do some sort of agricultural project for my FFA project. Being me I decided to start a rabbitry but for profit. I will be breeding meat rabbits, knowing me I'll probably cry everytime I sell them lol. Anyway, I use to have a rabbitry with Mini Rexes and French Angoras, I moved...

    Dwarf New Zealand White?

He's a little trooper! I think this is due to him being premature, he seems just as healthy as his siblings though. He is very cute!
