PLEASE PLEASE HELP - BROKEN BONE

My cats and rabbits have always either ignoredeach other, played together a bit, or the rabbits have chased thecats. I've never had a cat act aggressively towards a rabbitexcept in self-defense (in which case if the rabbit gets swatted in thehead and gets no sympathy from me,the cat is off the...

    Poor Nibbles!!

I'm sure they're enterering the 'lumpy' phaseand don't want to be touched much, but I'd still recommend fussing overthem as much as possible. I keep hearing that they seem to dobetter when they're fussed over. I really hope they make it.

    Red urine.. or blood?

Blood in the urine will appearasstrands or little clots, not lumps. Its usuallypretty hard to detect unless its really serious and that would morelikely bea sudden onslaught. You can put a paper towel in her pee area and see if you can seestrands or clots when she urinates on it. If it turns...

Help! Sami chewed through a wire!

If she lived through the severing of the wire, she'll be fine. The only real danger is electrocution(although she would have to have her teeth into both of the bare wireswithin the cord at the same time to get ashock). You may want to invest in some wire protectors -- plastic covers thatslip on...

    easing bunny pains for them

Its all so complicated.Metaclopromide is a gut stimulant, so if GI slowdownis the main problem, then it will help, but if there's a complete blockage, it can hurt. But stasis is a symptom, not the problem in most cases, especially when it startedwith diarrhea and coccidiosis is suspected...

    easing bunny pains for them

I hate reading posts like this -- it doesn't sound like you have a rabbit savvy vet. You need to keep him pain free, gas free, warm and hydrated no matter what the cause. The vet should have given him a shot of a pain killer, the baby gas meds, fluids under the skin and wrappedhim on a low heat...
