    Rabbit won't leave her cage

Okay, so far I've done everything but the gas medications. She's acting more normal now, just not quite perfect yet. She isn't racing around the room or binkying, but that could be because she's still slightly uncomfortable from the blackage/gas.

She's moving around a lot more and eating her hay. She won't eat her veggies though.

    Rabbit won't leave her cage

I haven't given her any more oil, so no worries there. I've been told the oil will help lubricate a blockage and help it pass. That was the thought process on that one. I'll soak a few veggies and see if she'll eat them. She appears to be improving. She was moving around a bit more until...

    Rabbit won't leave her cage

I don't even know what simethiconeis so I'm sure I don't have it in the house anywhere. Here's an update though: Most signs pointed to a blockage (apparent discomfort when trying to lay on her side, lack of stomach gurgling), so I rubbed her belly and got her to lick a few drops of olive oil...

    Rabbit won't leave her cage

Name: Puck Age: less than one year. Probably about 6 months Breed: unknown, but probably dutch mix Issue: I let my rabbit out every night for at least two hours, and she's usually very happy to get out. Tonight she is just sitting in her litter box with the cage door open, and not...

How to tell if I rabbit breaks something.

I don't know what kind he is. I adopted him from someone and she didn't know his breed or his parents (so unfortunately I don't know if he's genetically prone to disease). I haven't seen any rabbit photos that look like him though so he may just be a mutt. He's about the size of a smallish...

How to tell if I rabbit breaks something.

Thanks for the info! I'm still trying to get the hang of picking him up. I've tried having him facing away from me, toward me, and with his side toward me and he always struggles so I let him go and he runs away. He only lets me pick him up with no fuss when I'm at the vet. He's not...

    Attacking new socks

I just stuffed one and left it on the floor for him. He's munching the hay...we'll see if he murders the sock (I kept all of my old ones for my rat to nest with, but Toni won't mind sharing with the rabbit).

    Attacking new socks

Yes he does attack them when they're not on my feet. He digs at them and bites them and pulls them around the room. I'm trying to rub them on him before I put them on my feet so maybe they will smell more like him and he won't attack them, but he bit my foot again the other day....

How to tell if I rabbit breaks something.

I have had my rabbit maybe a month and he is about 16-20 weeks old. I've been hearing from the get-go from my veet, online forums, websites, and rabbit info books abouthow easily rabbits can break their legs, back, feet and such just by struggling when being picked up, thumping their feet, or...

    Attacking new socks

He's mostly brown, but has a white chest and leg. I did wash them, and haven't changed detergents or anything. And yes, he's latching on with his teeth. Thankfully so far he has only gotten sock. I called my vet about it and she said wear shoes, and rub the socks on the pillow in his cage...

What is every ones bunnies names?

Mine's named Puck after Shakespeare's Midsummernight's Dream because he is mischievous and rotten, but I love him.

    Attacking new socks

I've had my rabbit about a month now, and he's adjusting well enough. He has plenty of chew toys and things to explore. He's about 4 months old and not neutered (it's on the agenda later this month). He gets into trouble sometimes, but a squirt from the spray bottle usually gets him to stop...
