Hi, I understand how you feel, I can't state many of the details but trust me you are much better off then a person very close to me, the guy actually has rights to her child because he signed the birth certificate and is married to her (going through divorce right now) their kid is 1 years old...

I AM BACK! After a long break I have come back from the carrot havens as I call it despite their being only carrots once a week, and its happening Mommy's parents are trying to take me to the ASPCA :cry4::cry2 !!! Its not my fault that I am un-spayed and my pee stinks... Mommy has been crying...

Penlope is priceless to me...though I am a student and can't afford much I have spent about 600 on her atm though I know that those looming vet bills are coming down the track soon...

I use an under desk wire storage unit works pretty good at keep hay contained (Though does spill a bit when Penny starts ripping out the hay)

Clipping a rabbits nails is very beneficial because when their nails are to long it gives them a bit of trouble hopping around.

what I do is I keep a shaded place and fresh water at all times, also what you can do is wet a towel in cold water and then hang it over the cage and then put a fan that will blow against it (brings the heat right down). Ice cubes in the water are great for cooling them down.

But the guinea pigs output is...DISGUSTING!...But on another note my mummy say's that I can kick the ugly things but if it ever comes near me, but I don't want to touch that ugly thing...its all naked and Blargh

Well I am back! after Mummy changed her password (and forgot it) so I have been moved out into the Garage due to my mummy's family having allergies...But I still get my mummy time just not in the house anymore because her mum doesn't allow it. The thing I don't get is that the stinky naked...

Penelope purrs everyonce in a while she'll grunt (This is only when I am cleaning the cage...)

Call the vet, if her appetite has gone down you should call the vet... From what you have described that things are not the same you should take her in for a checkup to be safe.

Penelope nipped me a while ago but I have figured out it is when she doesn't get what she wants (not hard or anything just a "I am not getting what I want Woman and you should be paying attention" nip) A simple gentle no always works and then putting her back in her cage works very well.
