Hi everyone, I was just curious as to how long I should be feeding my bunny alfalfa hay for ?He's 4 months old right now & he's getting fed the Ox Bow Young Rabbit food as well, so I'm not too sure when I need to start getting him off of that & giving him less amounts of pellets either :help

All he gets is alfalfa hay right now, as for veggies the woman I got him from was already feeding him veggies when I got him at 6 weeks (I know very bad for him to be getting so early) & I just kept giving him some in small portions & just recently started giving him more since it doesn't upset...

Ah okay thanks for the info, he's getting bigger & my boyfriend keeps telling me I'm overfeeding him, when I've been under feeding him :sad:. He's always had his unlimited hay & veggies though. He's supposed to be a mini rex but I'm not sure if he's going to be or not, he feels like he's 2-3lbs...

Hi everyone, I'm currently feeding my bunny Ox Bow for young rabbits & when I got him I was told to feed him 1/4 a cup of pellets in one lump sum or just divide it up during the day which is what I do. I just recently read what it said on the back of the bag & it says young & pregnant rabbits...

My bunny does this too, I just heard him doing it the other morning lol. I got him a little chew toy that he can toss around & boy was he doing it. I got up to see what exactly he was doing & he'd pick it up and bob his head & eventually throw it down lol

Yah I'm not a daily cleaner lol, I'm a every other day cleaner & once a week entire empty since I tend to clean up with his poopies to put out in flowers :p. I'm more worried about him getting a respiratory infection so I'd rather just stick with the paper litter. I havent seen him munch on it...

That's what was in his old cage, he was okay with it but since he's in a NIC cage now it would just be all over the place with this little guy lol

I ended up getting the paper cat litter . I had looked at that one as well as the pellet version but reviews on that said it got gross even before a full day from urine. Making the pellets all gooey & such

He probably doesn't, he was able to jump to the top from his bed. I just feel better with the ramp in & he actually goes to the top floor more often now with it being in there. His ramp was out all last night & today & only saw him upstairs twice. When hes a year I might take it out to see if...

I put in a new ramp today that has notches & is about 30" or so give or take & he's now going up & down the ramp with no problems with just a little hesitation cause of the previous ramp

Sorry I ment the wood pellets . Does the vinegar need to be diluted any or just pour some on & it's good to go ?

That's actually really clever, never would've thought of that. I have his litterbox up at the top w/ one secured in so it doesn't move w/ another one so I can just pop it in & out when needed to be cleaned, I'm going to have to get another one so I don't worry about him making business in the...

I tried that before removing it, he wanted nothing to do with it still. Once I took the ramp out I woke up in the middle of the night to hear him playing with his chewies on top, so now hes jumping up there for now with the help of his little bed as a step. I'm going to be putting his new ramp...
