FYI: I asked the breeder about spraying and she told me that it's a highly-inheritable trait; she doesn't breed bucks who spray her. She said if he was going to be a sprayer, he would've started at 5 months.

Thank you! I'm really hoping he's just not a sprayer and sounds like he's probably not. After talking to another rabbit owner, however, I started to wonder if maybe it was yet to come ... :)

At about what age do unneutered bucks start spraying? Mine is about 1.5 years and has never sprayed. Is this a behavior that's still a possibility or is he most likely not a sprayer? I was under the impression that spraying was something they did more often than not.

I have that Midwest X-Pen from Amazon. I have a Holland Lop, a little more than 4 lbs. and have no issues with him getting through spaces. EDITED: I may have misunderstood your question. Each panel is 2' wide. It makes a 4x4' pen.

How often do you switch out uneaten hay and/or pellets? Every day? Every other day? I try to decrease the amount I give when I see that stuff is not getting eaten, but there are times when there's extra in his bowl and rack. It feels wasteful to throw it out after a day ... what do you guys do?
