    Welp, It's Mange

My original worries were correct. We got a hold of a vet that would treat a bunny and they gave us Revolution. Now we can kill those nasty little bugs.

    Welp, It's Mange

I did check some images. Most of them were of severe cases, so they didn't look similar to her spots. But checking her eyelid today, it actually looks a little better. I'm wondering again if she didn't just scrape herself up while playing around. She has trouble putting on her brakes sometimes...

    Welp, It's Mange

I thought they were at first, but the spots are getting harder and larger and the crusts are white. Maybe I should try to get some pictures. One is on her right hind foot and the other on the corner of her right eyelid. And she feels like she's getting one on her back. I can't see it, but I can...

    Welp, It's Mange

I've been watching Angel's bald spots, and they're definitely slightly crusty lesions now. I'm guessing it's mange or some other kind of mite. I've looked it up and everywhere suggests getting Revolution for kittens, since it treats mange, mites, fleas, and almost every little bug a rabbit is...

    Tiny bald spots

Thanks. I checked her out with a flea comb and didn't see any little buggies or their leavings.

    Tiny bald spots

I feel like I'm just being a paranoid mom and worrying about everything little thing, but Angel seems to have two little bald spots today. One is on her right hind foot and it other is the upper corner of her right eye. I haven't seen her pulling any fur out. Could this be fleas?

    Zooming

Angel doesn't flop. She just sproings and twists and darts around and then stop still and looks at me like she wasn't doing anything at all.

    Zooming

Okay, good! I was just concerned because she only started yesterday. She's also started stretching out like a cat when she lays down. I guess she's getting comfortable now.

    Zooming

Angel is suddenly zooming around top speed all over the room. Is this normal playful behavior? Out last rabbit was lazy, so I'm not sure.

    New Bunny Mama

Ha ha! Well, I did spend the day with my aunt, but we watched movies at my house instead of hers. Though that was because I was also worried about the dogs. I've been spending so much time with Angel and my parents had been gone so many evenings (and that entire Saturday), so they were feeling...

    Tummy Trouble

Thanks for all the advice, guys! Been off the radar for the weekend, but back with an update. Angel has made a full recovery! She eats everything we have to offer now (except carrots; she didn't like the little carrot sliver we offered; our dog Tiger loved them, though), poop is all back to...

    New Bunny Mama

I actually had almost named Angel Luna instead! I'm a wreck today because I was invited to hang out by my aunt, and I'd love to go. But that means leaving Angel in her cage all alone. :( Would leaving the TV on provide some company? We do that for the dogs in the den. Angel is staying in my...

    New Bunny Mama

Thank you! I've got pictures, but not on the computer yet. Here's a video I took Wednesday. I think she was already grinding then, but I mistook it for purring. :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITTcv2eGHvs

    Tummy Trouble

Thank you! Poor baby was in so much pain. It took me awhile to recognize, because I didn't catch the distinction between tooth purring and tooth grinding until it got really loud and constant and she was always still when it happened. She hasn't ground her teeth since last night though. She...

    New Bunny Mama

Thank you! Yes, I already posted in the infirmary. I was worried it was stasis, but she's starting pooping and eating again.
