I will continue to ponder it but will definitely let her pick out her own brother or sister :) I'm glad to know that the breed does not matter though so I guess that's a common misconception! I have researched bonding and need to find the right time to focus all of my attention on my babies...

I have an 11 month old female Holland Lop Ear named Marley. I let her out to play regularly but lately she has been biting on her cage like crazy. I have tried to read into it and the only thing that I have found as a reason is that she wants to mate or wants out... Which isn't the case because...
The play pen would be in a seperate room from the dogs. She used to run around in my bedroom but started chewing on cords and I don't want her to get electricuted so I kind of stopped letting her run around as much. I agree that the pen is probably the best choice.
