I need help with two ID's...

Yes, they are difficult to keep in coat I guess... when I bought him he has SO much furr and fluff but it was matted so bad I had to cut most of it off... the breeder said that she has been running back and forth from the hospital and couldn't care for him properly... poor guy looks massacred...

I need help with two ID's...

Ok that makes sense, because the Pedigreed and tattoo'd buck I bought off a breeder down here sold him as a Holland Lop, every animal on his 8 gen pedigree is a holland but he's a fuzzy lop. I was just curious, but I guess he can be both.

I need help with two ID's...

These two are quite friendly if you're not trying to pick them up, but once they're feet are off the ground they go all out, scratching and carrying on, etc. I'm hoping in time they will be my little tame pets, but we shall see, either way they have a good home with me... no .. here's a couple...

I need help with two ID's...

Neither of the two have Lop ears... so I guess they are just plain old standard pets.

Here are a few more photos of the two of them, since it's hard to tell through the bars of a cage.

I need help with two ID's...

Not sure what breed these two cuties are, but would like some ideas... when I asked the breeder she said they are "mini loppies", but more mini then loppy. :?:confused2:

    Requesting input from breeders: Terminology

Ohhh ok, thank you so much. So a rabbit with a sire who has 6 legs in his pedigree... that would be considered a good kit? I suppose it would depend on the doe and on the kit itself..hmm

    Requesting input from breeders: Terminology

I know this is an older topic, but I am looking for the definition of the term "legs" in a rabbit's pedigree, and this topic is the closest I have found, although the definition is not actually posted. If someone could either pm me the meaning or respond on here i would appreciate it!!

How young can a buck be bred from?

Well, I went out to the breeders today, and came home with a tattoo'd and pedigreed buck (5 months old), and two females (3 months), all unrelated, and Holland lops. I am going to hate to wait to breed from the does obviously but I would like to breed the buck to my 6 month old does (one of...
