Can one rabbit get another rabbit paralyzed?

Mine did this, flop bunny syndrome. I'm not sure if you mean it's happened suddenly or ongoing? They can't get access to food and water and if its just happened seek vet care. Mine did it twice and with medication has fully recovered and not relapsed again

    Bunny pairing help

I don't know if the bunny date thing is a good idea though if he apparently has EC? One rescue has flatly declined to adopt me a rescue, let alone let him bunny date. It's def for him tho, I don't really want to get another rabbit, but if it makes him happy what the heck, the more the merrier...

Hello I am wanting too look at getting my bunny a friend but I have a few concerns. My male is a neutered lop ear of undefined age. He has had his share of health issues, and a year ago was diagnosed with EC. However he has not relapsed in a year and is not medicated for it (and has no head tilt...

    Snuffles? A cold? Allergies?

We went to the vet a couple hours ago, she pretty sure it's pasturella. There are limited options to us here in Australia but he is going on a course of antibiotics. There is obviously something very compromised about my bunnies immune system as he also has EC The good news is he isn't bad, so...

    Snuffles? A cold? Allergies?

My darling vet prone bunny, has been sneezing on occasion, I noticed twice last night. This morning I wiped a small amount of white discharge from his nose. Had a good look up there and couldn't see anything else. I know that it's likely snuffles, but reading up that's usually characterized by...

Oh and here at work, I live in a camp. It's 46 degrees (c) at the moment, I think he would prefer the aircon in the house

Vanessa, it's a different situation here for me, I fly to work in the middle of a desert (of environmental significance) I am prohibited from bringing animals (or even fruit) and its a chartered plane not a commercial airline. My hubby is good with our bunny but works away also (2 weeks a...

    E Cunuculi

Unfortunately I am flown into work and work on a remote minesite, it's 12hr days and I wouldn't get him past airport security! I just don't want him to suffer should he relapse, he cannot move to eat or drink and needs toileted. I guess I will cross that bridge when it comes, I was worried...

    E Cunuculi

He went to the rabbit specialist who is the 3rd opinion that's its EC. He gets completely paralysed is the main symptom, you can feel the heat in his neck, and him being poorly weight wise was a by product I was told. He was tested for a big range of things if anyone would like to look over the...

    E Cunuculi

He was given the full meds for the entire duration of his recovery. He relapsed middle of first recovery and had to start again, which he completed. The vets have said to give him regular doses of panacur 'just incase' which is the area I can't commit too as no one to administer it.

He went to a rabbit specialist, had all avail blood tests done I believe, results were EC. When he episodes he was on metacam both times, on the panacur for 30 days and went down again about 20 into that. He came back from the bunny specialist with both those medications and a bunch of get...

    Toilet trained bunny soiling furniture

It's a new suede couch so I don't want to vinegar it. I do have a plastic sheet I will pop on it when I'm there too see if I can break the habit. He loves the couch so I don't want to ban him from it.
