Thanks for some of the ideas.. I will have to keep trying the different techniques until he can somewhat tolerate it. Also how often are you supposed to clip them? Just once a month or sooner? I've had him for about 2 months and clipped him twice.. Seems to be doing fine at that rate.

When I first took my bun home on break, he did the same thing with the hardwood floor. It took him a few days to get used to it, but he finally got sick of being pinned to the rug, so he was soon dashing all over the house. :)

Thanks.. I have tried giving him lots of different toys. He always has tons of different kinds of hay available, a little kabob that has different wooden shapes on it, a toilet paper roll, a ball, and an igloo. :expressionless

Oh no! That really concerns me. Does anyone know if there is any kind of spray that I can put on the wire that will turn him off of chewing?! :nerves1

My rabbit has gotten spoiled from being out of his cage for long durations (bedroom majority of the day, bathroom all night), so now when I put him back in, he constantly chews the door wanting out. Since the door is made of metal wires, it is noisy and annoying. How can I get him to stop!? :?

Benny always jumps on my belly or back if I lay on the floor. :) Its good that she is really potty trained. It might be a good idea to bond after the kids have slept, just because its a new home and the new sights and sounds can be scary! Good luck!!

Take it slow.. Some rabbits don't like to be held very much. Its important for you to form a good bond with her before you pick her up a lot. When she is out, go sit inside of her enclosure and let her come to you. Rabbits are very curious and it won't be long before she wants to check you out...

Very cute :) I bought a harness for my rabbit, but he didn't like it at all and got really stressed out every time I tried to put it on him/wiggled free, even though it was the right size. :(
