We use Kaytee brand Timothy Hay. He does eat about a pile the size of his body per day. He is shedding quite a bit right now, but his behavior hasn't really changed during shedding in the past.

Thanks for your reply. Pancho weighed about 3.4 lbs at his last visit to the vet. We give Pancho 1/8 cup of Kaytee Fiesta food twice a day and a small handful of parsley/cilantro every day. He also has an abundance of hay in his litter box and in another box in his pen.
