    Hey, I'm totally still alive!

I was super upset about Erik. I'm actually still having trouble with his passing. I got his hair put into a rabbit-shaped pendant that has moons and stars on it- I always called him my "moon bunny." I miss him terribly.

    Hey, I'm totally still alive!

Yep I'm still in college. I'm going to be for awhile. About to start on getting a Master's...then hopefully vet school. In good news, I did get a new bunny- a Lionhead mix named Wheelie! He gets along quite well with Candy and Sofie. Isn't he ADORABLE?! He reminds me a little of Erik, but not a...

    Hey, I'm totally still alive!

:magicwand: I haven't posted in nearly a year, but I am still alive! It's been a difficult year. In May, my heartbun, Erik, was pts because of a large thymoma and declining life quality. I miss him soooooooo much. He is my little avatar. I got a job working in a veterinary anatomy lab...

stopping rabbits from getting into chairs

Does anyone have any ideas for stopping a rabbit from getting up into your chair? Stuffing it with a pillow didn't help. Does anyone else have this problem?

Getting my previously perfectly-litterbox-trained rabbits to go back to some of their old habits...

When I first had them, I tried the mixing scents thing. It didn't work very well for mine at all. Instead of differentiating their litter pans, they used the whole room as a litter pan, lol. I tried this for two months and it didn't work. But I have found something that seems to work...

Getting my previously perfectly-litterbox-trained rabbits to go back to some of their old habits...

All three are spayed or neutered and have been for years, with the exception of Candyfloss- she was spayed in August. Still it has been enough months for most of the hormonal behavior to die. However, because the other two were neutered after being single adults for a long time, and had...

Getting my previously perfectly-litterbox-trained rabbits to go back to some of their old habits...

So. Since Adopting Candyfloss (who is much whiter and less pink lately) my rabbits have slowly progressed downwards in terms of their pooping and peeing outside of the litterbox. Before, they were all perfect. Now....not so much. It's marking. The three don't get along remotely. Erik sorta...

    Rabbit died suddenly without symptoms

Some rabbits like water. It's uncommon, but some like to swim, or take a bath. I had a rabbit that liked splashing in water and would get himself completely wet. Getting a rabbit wet isn't going to kill it as long as you don't stick it in the freezer afterward. Half of a raw almond also is...

Candy has a very sudden case of diarrhea

It settled down today. She was really active the whole time and never quit eating. She ate some fresh basil and all of her hay, kept drinking, etc. So I think she's out of the clear. I've never heard such a loud rabbit stomach, including the huge hairballs my other has gotten. I'm glad she's...

Candy has a very sudden case of diarrhea

Candy is a food ninja. She was doing well, eating, pooping, etc etc. I left a cup of Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride tea on my end table. I went up to go to the bathroom. She slurped the entire thing down in less than 4 minutes. oh, homeless rescue rabbits that have had to forage their entire...
