    End table crate?

Has anyone tried one of those end table crates? https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/archie-oscar-ginny-pet-crate-aosc1016.html?piid=30959893,30959891 I have two male Holland Lops who live in a dog crate in my living room. They are let out when I am home. Looking for a visual upgrade and...

Boys pee everywhere that is not hard floor

Yes... I am looking for a more reasonable long-term solution. They live in my living room.

Boys pee everywhere that is not hard floor

Thanks... I have wall-to-wall carpeting, unfortunately. I keep them fenced off around their crate, but it is carpeted. It seems too much effort to hop 5-8 feet back to litter box.

Boys pee everywhere that is not hard floor

I have trained a number of rabbits to use litter boxes, but my new boys are being difficult. I have two male Holland Lops, bonded brothers, neutered since December 2018. I pulled them out from under a house where the people were letting the rabbits breed, so they had been outside since birth. I...

    Traumatized bunny HELP!!!!

Glad she is OK. Sounds like you will need to slowly and patiently desensitize her to the blankets. Try giving her treats and play time near blankets and over a period of several days (weeks if needed), move closer and closer to the scary items. I would start with that. If the traumas were...

    Slippery cage tray solutions

So, I put down strips of duct tape, which I had at home. Simple fix. Much better for the buns now! I will watch for any edge chewing.

    Slippery cage tray solutions

Thanks, folks. Grass mats have not worked. I will look into linoleum and the foam tiles. Little stinkers!

How often do you clean your rabbit's cage and litter?

Niles and Eddie are still getting used to indoor life and have been pretty good about using their litter box (smallish litter pan with a layer of wood pellets). Their hay manger is positioned so they have to sit in the litter pan to eat. They were just neutered, so they are still pretty stinky...

    Slippery cage tray solutions

I keep my two little Holland lops in an extra large, folding wire dog crate (in my living room), which gives them plenty of room when they can't be roaming about in the house. The removable floor tray is very slippery, which makes it hard for the buns to jump in and out, but any time I put a mat...

    Mite treatment

I think I can handle that. I just need to get a small enough syringe at the local feed store and practice measuring. Hopefully they won't be sensitive (I had heard that can be a complication). They are standard tri-color Holland lops. I got them from people who were allowing them to breed...

    Mite treatment

Update: My equine vet has offered to provide prescriptions for both the Revolution and liquid ivermectin. But input on proper treatment is still appreciated.

    Mite treatment

Hi there, I pulled two Holland Lops from under a house. They are being neutered Friday. They clearly have wool mites, but the vet doing the neutering cannot do medications (which seems weird, but it is the local humane society). The exotic animal vet who WILL treat rabbits wants upwards of $240...
