    Nutritional deficiency Causing Fur Fading

Don't worry she isn't fed corn anymore. Timothy hay 24/7, small scoop of pellets, and some romaine every day, the same for all rabbits at the shelter. The picture does make her look a lot fluffier than she is, there's nothing to her at all :( She's going to the vet soon and will receive a full...

    Nutritional deficiency Causing Fur Fading

Pepper Potts came to the shelter a few weeks ago so skinny you could feel every bone in her body. The owner told the staff that she was fed timothy/alfalfa hay, green beans, corn, and pellets. I'm a bit skeptical of how much she was fed of these things as rabbits don't become as skinny as she is...

    very aggressive bunny

Not to start an arguement, but getting a rabbit spayed can help so much besides preventing cancer. I'm speaking from experience of more than twenty rabbits being neutered/spayed at the shelter I work at and from dozens of people online. Obviously all rabbits are different, but all of the rabbits...

    very aggressive bunny

If she isn't spayed I'd recommend getting her done, she'll have a high risk of uterine cancer and will continue being aggressive because of her hormones. Also how long does she get outside of her cage everyday? Rabbits really need several hours of exercise time each day so that they can properly...

Ways to enhance your bunny's life?

Cardboard boxes, tunnels, things that they can jump on to, digging boxes, etc. have all been a big hit in my house. My rabbits love when I stuff a paper bag full of grass, hay, veggies, pellets, apple twigs, and other treats for them to rummage through.

How can I get her to trust me?

Unfortunately whenever you pick her you're setting your bonding back. I carry my unholdable rabbit in a carrier when I need to bring him upstairs, this will get rid of any worry about her jumping out and make her feel more secure. Don't force her into the carrier though just lure her in with...

Yes you do need to feed it in small amounts.

    best pellet food?

I'd recommend Oxbow or Science Selective if you can get it near you. Whichever pellet type you get it should have at least 18% fiber and no seeds, colored bits, or anything like that.

Please help. - Litter training & Bunny escapes pen

I'm assuming you mean that there is a little cage inside a pen? I personally would either take the cage out of the pen unless there is some reason why it must be in there. Either that or put a towel over part of the pen. This might be helpful for litter training...

    Which book?

I didn't enjoy House Rabbit Handbook as much as Rabbits for Dummies, but they are both pretty good resources.

    salt and mineral licks?

There's no need for one and if you have a bunny in need of distracting a wooden bird toy will work just as well.

    Diet for Young B/G

In my opinion those pellets could be higher in fiber, the House Rabbit Society's reccomendation is at least 18%. If Oxbow is available in you area I would consider getting that. You can keep him on pellets for his whole life if you want to, mine don't have pellets and it hasn't affected them at...
