Yes you do need to feed it in small amounts.

I'd recommend Oxbow or Science Selective if you can get it near you. Whichever pellet type you get it should have at least 18% fiber and no seeds, colored bits, or anything like that.

I'm assuming you mean that there is a little cage inside a pen? I personally would either take the cage out of the pen unless there is some reason why it must be in there. Either that or put a towel over part of the pen. This might be helpful for litter training...

I didn't enjoy House Rabbit Handbook as much as Rabbits for Dummies, but they are both pretty good resources.

There's no need for one and if you have a bunny in need of distracting a wooden bird toy will work just as well.

In my opinion those pellets could be higher in fiber, the House Rabbit Society's reccomendation is at least 18%. If Oxbow is available in you area I would consider getting that. You can keep him on pellets for his whole life if you want to, mine don't have pellets and it hasn't affected them at...

I always get my hay from the local farms. Much more cost efficent than the pet store stuff as a bale of hay is about half the price of a little bag of Oxbow. The rabbits love it just as much and it's nice because we can use it for bedding, satisfies three rabbits and three guinea pigs every day...
