would these housing ideas work?

I am hopefully getting a rabbit, and thinking of cage ideas. My one idea was using a dog crate, and using chicken wire for an extension.
My other idea was to transform my bottom bunk bed into one big rabbit cage. And use the top bunk for my self.
Would either of these work?

Both would work awesomely.

If you want the dog crate to be outside, think carefully about predators. They can rip chicken wire.

The bunk bed idea sounds AWESOME. Mind if I steal that one?

I was planning on keeping the rabbit inside.

Btw will a rabbit be ok with chicken wire? Or do you think they could chew threw that?

It depends...

If it is the hexagon type of wire, then YES THEY CAN, but they can't chew through 1/2 inch hardware cloth wire.
