irst andforemost we must say thank you to everyone that applied to the program. We received so many wonderful requests that deciding how to allocatethe funds was not an easy job. We realize the amount of work, time, money and love that it takes to accomplish running a rescue or shelter. We consider it an honor to be part of such a committed and caringcommunity.

his year12 groups were chosen to receive grant funding. These applicationsincluded outreach projects, expansion projects, education, specialneeds and more. Our intention was to support as many groups as possiblewithout compromising the integrity of their objectives. We hope thatwith the aid of our grant funding all of their goals will be met in theupcoming year. We wish all of our applicants and those groups who didnot apply the best for 2007.
