I was just wondering if it is normal for rabbits to have white deposits on their poop. I notice it occasionally and didn't think much of it initially. I thought it maybe calcium deposits or something. But I thought I may double check if it could be something else? I heard worms can present like that?

I think it's probably thesediment in the urine on the poop .

gross as it sounds take a pic of them and post it

Ihave seen this with my rabbits also and not worried about it.

Thanks, that's good to know. i looks rather chalky and more like minerals rather than anything organic. I'll try and take a picture of it:)

The deposits I mentioned are mainly from the fresh poop but i've seen the sort of dry mould too or even worse the poop I put on the flower pots somtimes grows fur. Yikes:)

I have seen this also on both old and new - I used to think it is because we are behind with cleaning until saw it on the new. so this is what it is!
