When do rabbits mature

Around what age do does mature enough to getpregnant? I think snowball is a girl!! He/she andpappy are around the same age and Pappy is clearly a male but snowballis not clear. They are so bonded I hate to seperate them butwe don't really want baby buns. They are around 4 1/2 monthsright now.

That's old enough! A doe is mature at about 12 wks.

it can depend on the size/breed. I haveseen where a mini-rex male can mature at 3 mos (which mine was showingsigns then and at 4 mos his testicles dropped).... and as late as 6 mosor more for larger rabbits.

Bub was, if I remember right, mature at 3 mo. I remember thinking , "wow, that happened fast!!"

Some breeders start breeding does at 4 months,the smaller breeds,holland lops netherland dwarfs, polish,mini rex canget pregnant at 4 months,i would seperate them now.bluebird
