what is pedigree?

im just curious to know what exactly is pedigree and also when the babies are so little how do you tell their sex?

A pedigree is a record of the rabbit's 3generation ancestry, birth date, color, breeder and sex ofrabbit. It should also include the weights of all ancestorsand ear numbers if applicable.

A rabbit is eligibleat 6monthsforapplication to the American RabbitBreeders Association breed registration. This requires acomplete 3 generation pedigree and inspection by a licensed registrar(such as myself ) to confirm that the rabbit is healthy and free fromany show disqualifications.
