weird noises?

I have 2, 4 week old baby bunnies and one of them makes a weird noise when i
come up to the cage. But he seems fine he comes right up to me and licks me then wants to get out. Why does he do this? he only did it a few times. But i think its really weird. :?

He might just be talking with you and communicating something. Might be worth watching to see if it occurs at any other time, like eating, or doing exercise, etc.

What kind of noise is it? A squeak? A buzz/grunt? A wheeze? Bunnies have quite the "vocabulary"!

Its hard to explain...it was maybe like a squeak/grunt kinda noise.
im pretty sure he only does it when i come up to the cage. :?

He may be greeting you
Keep an ear out.. you may have a very talkative bun..
Watch for repeated actions. Is it around food? Maybe just you? Is he trying to get closer to you, or moving away?

My bun Evie snorts and chats at me when she doesn't like something I do Other buns express their happiness this way

My guy, Toby, grunts when I have food for him or am in his space. He will run around my feet and grunt/buzz when he is happy. He also makes grunty noises that turn into squeaks when I pet him (sometimes when he's eating, too). Bunny grunts are so cute!
