Sudden fits of inbalance?

I really didn't know how to properly title this, as I don't know what it's called

my rabbit is a 6 year old lion head x mini lop, NOT neutered, and up until this point has been healthy. Eating/drinking/pooping/peeing normally

Out of the blue he'll freak out, try to stand on his hind legs, or move, and he'll fall over. Then he'll just stop, stay in one place, breathing rapidly and looking quite frightened. A minute will pass and he'll just...snap out of it. He'll hop away with no problem and act as if nothing's happened. Aside from the few moments during his 'episode' he's completely like his usual self.

What exactly might be going on?

Sounds like a neurological issue. Could be a mini seizure, stroke, e. cuniculi, infection, tumor, etc. There's really no way of knowing without a vet conducting diagnostics to try and pinpoint the problem. I would suggest taking your rabbit to be seen by a rabbit savvy vet right away, as it is possible what ever is going on is life threatening.
