Hi, Yesterday we spent almost a day at the vet, bc Guppi had a GI stasis. After his treatment, he is eating and pooping as usual, but he also has a new-found confidence. He generally is a bit timid and cautious, therefore almost never leaves my room if given the chance. But now he decided to explore the whole living room and peeked into the bathroom as well. Is this sudden activity normal/common?

No, usually they get upset and will more often be mad at us for taking them to the vet, and stomp and run and hide for a bit once back home. But maybe your bun is so happy to be back home and in his own territory, that it's given him this new found confidence to explore
