I haven't been here in a while. I bred my two minilops last month and my doe kindled five kits. One was still born but the rest are healthy.
She gave birth to them in her two story homemade hutch in the lower level which is all closed in except for the hole for her to get into the other sections. The nest is located right next to the door so I can see them easily.
My question is:
We are located in New England but we are supposed to get two days of rain. Would it be too stressful to move the kits and mom into a different cage and keep them inside during this storm?
If it isn't a good idea, what should I do to keep it from being too cold for the kits?
