Sharing water with cats?

I know that if a cat bites or scratches a rabbit, the rabbit can get sick from it. I was wondering though, does this mean that Henri and the cats should never drink out of the same water bowl? Henri does have his own bowl of course but he also will drink from the cats water bowl when he is out. Also, there is no way for me really to keep the cats out of his water bowl unless he was sometimes denied access to it as well. I have had no problems at all with my cats playing too rough with Henri so I am not worried about him getting sick that way. I guess I got lucky with my felines, they really are extremely well behaved.

There would have to be a break in the skin, as in a bite or scratch, to be a problem. Your cats saliva itself won't get your rabbit sick.
