I know from research that alot of kits die fromtummy troubles when they come out of the box and start eating pelletsand hay. All my cages have boards on part of the floor and not all thepoop falls through. I notice that when my babies came out of the boxthe first thing they did was start eating cecal droppings. Not on of my14 babies has had any tummy trouble. I know a foal will eat it's mom'spoop to get the bacteria it needs to keep it's GI system healthy. Is itthe same for bunnies? or have i just lucky?

I want to say that it is the same for rabbits.Good mamas will leave some sort of droppings in the nestboxes for thebabies as they get older - or at least some of mine do.

Sounds like your rabbits are doing great - CONGRATS!
