One ofmy rabbits has a line about half-way up on his body under which the furconstantly molts. He has been like this since I adopted himthree years ago, and no one seems to know why. When I adoptedhim, the card said "Recovering from fur loss on neck due to trama", butthere was no fur loss on his neck, only on his sides and rump on thearea I have mentioned. Any ideas as to why his molting isconstant? No real problem with it, I'd just like to know.

Thanks!

Hello Vinny,

what temperature are you keeping your rabbit at? High temps may causethe rabbit to be in a constant molt. What kind of feed do you use? Ahigh energy feed can cause a constant Molt also. I hope this helps some.
