Hi everyone!! I
am Sarah and have had rabbits for about tenyears. My first bunny and myheart bunny Nutmeg was a gray dutch
and she passed away last year. I
have her son Basil, who was conceived the day after his daddy was fixed and the
only one in the litter, and Ginger,a mix breed small rabbit I got after Nutty
died. I have own a few others as
well but they are all now passed on.
This summer I am getting my first pedigree bunny, a female
Flemish giant, who I will be
naming Rose Mary or Rosie for short.
All my rabbits were raised in the house and then moveoutside when they were old enough, around six to eightmonths. Basil and Ginger livein a 20x20 ft enclosure on the ground
together and are both fixed. They
have a small dog house and lots of hay.
I also have a play pen that we can move around the yard and they come in
the house and hang out and sleep if the weather is really cold or hot.
So now everyone knows my set-up, I really want Rosie to be
in the house but couldnt find a cage big enough, so I bought a dog playpen to
put in the house. I still need an
idea for the size litter pan a bunny Rosies size is going toneed. Anybody have Flemishgiants that are
litter trained? What size box do
you use?
Also this is Ginger any guess on the mix?? She is about 3or 4 lbs.
