We had Sparta at Bunanza this weekend and had a vet do a onceover of all of the recues currently up for adoption and unfortunatly in Sparta's case, the news wasn't all good.

He is in good body condition and everything, but when we got to his mouth we encountered a problem...

The vet mentioned he is a ticking bomb for abscess's and further problems with his teeth, does anyone have any recommendations or even a reason why they would be like that? He eats and drinks fine but we're going to get his teeth trimmed for sure.

Omg I don't think I've ever seen that much of a closeup photo of a buns teeth!!
I have no advice but just wanted to say best of luck. I sure hope he will be okay! How old is he? And did the vet seem to think he was born this way or lost the tooth?

We aren't sure what his age is, he was surrendered to the club by someone who found him running around Calgary. We have no idea on age or history. They weren't sure why they are like that either.
