I went to show my Lionhead this weekend and found that she was DQ'd because of weight. I didn't know what her weight should be.

So if anyone knows where I could find standards on Lionheads I would appreciate it.
:thanks:

She was over by 3-4 ounces. It's hard to tell with all that fur! It takes her so long to eat her food, I never thought she could be over weight!

Thanks for info!:D

This is actually not correct. Juniors must be under 3 1/4 pounds with minimum weight being 1 5/8 pounds. Seniors must be under 3 3/4 pounds and IDEAL weight is 3 1/2 pounds.

Currently, the lionhead standards can be posted on the internet because they have not yet been full accepted as a breed. However, once they pass and become a breed...then the standards become property of ARBA and copyrighted.

Here is a link to them for now:

Hi Lionheads have to be 4lbs and under.

Also note that if you are going to show lionheads, you must bring a copy of the standard with you for the judge.
