Lettuce

I know leaf lettuce is ok for bunnies and head lettuce is not. . . I'm also a member of the CL forum and someone there keeps telling people lettuce is toxic to bunnies. . . . .

Is there a good source of information on acceptable types of lettuce that I can link that forum to?

This person keeps saying their vet said lettuce is bad. . . I find it hard to believe a rabbit vet would say all lettuce is bad for bunnies but maybe I am missing something?

Iceberg lettuce can cause poop problems...maybe the vet had an experience with fertalizer on some lettuce or something that hurt a rabbit?
