Benji has two normal ceramic bowls for his food- one for pellets, one for veggies. But I can't give Pippin ceramic bowls because he just throws them around and breaks them, and obviously I can't give him bowls that he could break because he may cut himself on the jagged edges.

I want to give him a bowl, for hygiene purposes, and so I can see how much he is eating, and throw away any left pellets easily, and I have given him a plastic cat bowl.

It is just a regular, clear, orange, plastic cat bowl from Pets at Home.

Is this safe? I assume it is, because it's made for animals, but is it safe for him to chew?

Thanks

If it can be chewed, they will. I have crocks of various sizes bought from petsmart. They can pickup their treat dishes, so they don't get left in. The others are too big, so, we haven't had any problem. Whatever works is best, though.

So it's safe for him to chew it? Just a regular plastic pet feeding bowl.
