My 2.5-year-old Californian, Pinkerton, seems to develop noticeable gut gurgles whenever he sheds, which he's currently doing. I'm wondering if this is a fairly normal digestive reaction for most buns?

I'm brushing him twice daily--removing copious amounts of fur that he won't have to ingest--and ensuring that he's eating/ pooping normally, which he is. But when I'm sitting near him, I can hear his gut churning away.

So far, he's shown no signs of a sudden gas bout, which has happened several times in the past (not necessarily when he was shedding). So as long as his input, output, and behavior are all normal, I won't stress too much.

Thank you,

Jenk
