Help with an abcess

Mercedes (my last surviving Cali doe) has what feels like a golf ball (maybe bigger) abcess near a nipple. I'm starting her on Pen G today...not sure if I should also give her pain meds or gas meds for her tummy.

Another doe had something like this months ago and the Pen G worked wonders...but I think I gave her painkiller at first cause she was hurting.

if you have a probiotic like probios or benebac you could give herthat
and a pain med (metacam) keeping her hydrated well while on it so it won't affect her kidneys
gas meds aren't necessary unless she stops eating or looks uncomfortable.
