Well i have a rabbit that looks like a himalyanor calafornia the color anyway. A solid grey lop and a grey and whitespotted lop and the grey on them are starting to turn to abronish. Is this normal or no they are all males?RObert

Could it be some kind of staining from sitting in their litter boxes (or whatever kind of toilet they have)?

It's very normal. The color change canbe caused by an older coat, moult, urine bleaching the coat outorexposure to sun.

When they shed again, the orignal color should show through again.

The color may sometimes change as the rabbitages. I've a few go through some rather dramatic colorchanges. The major moults are twice a year in the spring andfall. Temperature is also a factor with the himalayan markedrabbits.
