My boyfriends mom got me a 40 pound bag of rabbitfood from a feed store..I think its called PEN PALS RABBIT FOOD...shesaid i ould put a whole bunch of it in the freezer to save it for lateruse. Would that make it lose its nutritional value?

i remember reading that someone actually keepsthere food in a freezer in case it goes bad out of it. i think it mighthave been Buck?

I was informed by a tech rep from Blue Seal, amajor feed manufacturer, that frozen rabbit feed pellets should retaintheir nutritional food value for about a year. I freeze thebag and remove smaller portions to defrost and dispense as needed.
