Is the only difference between Eastern and Western timothy hay the location in which they're grown (East coast vs. the West coast)? That's my guess, but I don't want to assume.

I would also assume that the main difference is location. There may also be some slight variation due to growing conditions and possible seed variation. These should be slight.

I find it amusing, actually, the fact that I'd never before considered the existence of Eastern timothy hay, when there's one clarified as Western timothy hay.... :biggrin2:
