Ok,

two of my Holland Lops they seem like they have decent standards. Butwhen they were 2 months old there ears were perfectly down, now they arekinda up a little. And when I put there ears down it will stay down.

Can this be ear control or they need to grow into them a bit?

And if it is ear control how can I prevent it even though I can't?

And I'll take pics too. ;)

Thanks

ear control can be based on many things, themost common is a tight crown. . .this is when the boney mass betweenthe ears (called the crown) isn't wide enough. . . they may grow out ofit as they develope with age, but some don't.

some people try to work a rabbits ears down. . . i have even heard ofpeople tapping quarters to the ears to weight them down. . . but thepoint is that a rabbit is genetically how a rabbit is.

the only way to eliminate a tight crown is to breed it out. . .basically by finding a rabbit that has a really nice crown, breeding itto yours and keeping the babies with a nice crown. . .
