Hello im a new bunny owner. I have a 3 month old Holland lop and recently his poop sizes started to vary. Before they were all small and hard and some are larger and oblong and a little softer (see pic). We did start feeding him more Timothy pellets because I read young rabbits need more, but other than that his diet is mostly Timothy hay and a little bit of romaine. Does the poop seem normal? Is it too many pellets?20190604_180207.jpg

If it hasn't gone back to normal, I would take him to an experienced rabbit vet and get a fecal float test done to check for coccidiosis. It can cause irregular shaped poop like that. The other possibility is megacolon, especially if your rabbit is a mostly white rabbit with some spots of color. Megacolon will also cause irregular shaped and oblong poop.

If your rabbit has megacolon let me know. I had a rabbit with it and I was able to manage the disease for several years with a specific diet, keeping my rabbit relatively symptom free during that time.
