I have two questions...

Given the choice of either one strong dose of palliative radiation orone trial dose of chemo, both with pros and cons, which would youchoose? The chemo would be a trial because theydon't have a sure diagnosis about the specific type of tumor, so thedrug they use would be an educated guess..but its most likely lymphoma.

Also, my rabbit doesn't have any symptoms yet. He's healthyotherwise. Should I do treatment now while he's strongest orwait until he begins to show symptoms?

He is receiving his treatment from the UW Wisconsin Veteranary TeachingHospital so the case has been reviewed by specialists in each area-oncology and radialogy. They've laid out the two options andI have to choose.

I'd appreciate any opinions.... thanks!

I would not wait tostart whatever it is you decide to do. It's best toirradicate the tumor now before it spreads or really does starteffecting your rabbit's health. Plus, if you wait too long,it could get so bad that the treatment might not work wellenough. Of course the decision is ultimately yours.Good luck in whatever you do.
