me what kind of bunny this is?

A former coworker's husband found this poor little girl (they named her Iris) in a tiny cage in a basement getting no love or affectio.

The people who had her were tired of her, they got her from a school program.

They are not sure if they can keep her themselves as they foster ferrets, but as they are real animal lovers he could not just leave her there.

She's beautiful! Any idea how big she is?

The breeders would know more, but she looks a bit like a Britannia Petite to me. Maybe a cross?

She certainly looks like a Britannia Petite or cross. She has the Brit eye, fine wedge head, ear and long slender front leg of the Britannia.

However, the color is not a common variety of the Brit. (Although breeders are working on developing new varieties).

How much does she weigh? Top show weight of theBrit is 2 1/2 pounds.
