I noticed this am that it looked worse then before. Thisis the best picture i could get.

I couldn't get a picture to focus without using flash. But it gives you the idea. I was thinking cataracts but the whole eye isn't cloudy its the pupil(?) thats white. What would this be? Poor bunny has been through alot this past year. He still has viruses we can't seem to get rid of.

did it comes on slowly or all at once?. ..could be cataracts but they usally slowly develop and could be glaucoma. I had mini-lop that had an sudden onset of glaucoma/blindness reason unclear. It involved the entire eye.

you need to see an opthamologist for animals.

For awhile it looked as though i could see the pupil. Unlike his other eye looking all black. But the vet didn't say anything either. yesterday it was more noticeable.

I would suggest seeing a specialist. It looks like a cataract to me.

One of my fosters had a cataract that an ophthamologist was able to remove. He still has vision in the eye.

Hi, if it is cataracts there are different reasons they can develop ie: glaucoma, UV damage, E.cuniculi parasite and I think it is pretty important to identify what the cause might be, as it could affect his overall health.

I agree with the above posts- a referral to an ophthalmologist would be ideal and confirm that this is actually cataracts and they can also determine how to proceed. I have a bun who has had a cataract since birth- it is minor, but does affect his vision. It does not cause him discomfort and has not become worse so it has not had surgery.

You mentioned he has viruses that he cannot seem to get rid of, what has he been diagnosed with and what has he been treated for? I wonder if it is all related.

You can look back at my posts. He has something the vet doesn't know how to cure. We have tried many things. I don't think their is a animal eye dr near here. It was hard enough finding a rabbit dr.
