what i think we should do is everyone who wants others to help make upshow names can post them here and we can all help each other make themup.

once a fair amount of people have names we could have a little show of some kind!!! :bunnydance:

What does a show name involve??

Our bunns have long names already::shock:

Peppers Poffenberry Lallowe'en--> Peppers

Skittles Sukeyface (Sue-Keyface)Lallowe'en--> Skittles

Solembum Smudgenstump Garfunkel--> Babum (Buh-bum)

Good news for those who like longnames! ARBA has extended the allowable length of rabbit namesfor registration from 22 characters (including spaces) to 30 characters(including spaces).

putting pictures next to the bunnies name is a good idea. others can then see what they are trying to name!

none of my rabbits have ever had show names butwe have had 4 litters so we needed quite a few names and as we couldnttell if they boys or girls they had to fit for either. the first litterhad 9 so we named them after plants and trees. my other bunny had 5within2 weeks after that so we also named them after trees.Daisy then had an unexpected litter of 8during that winterand so they were all named after veg. as Daisy had 2 litters we letDandy hav another litter of 7 which were all named after fruits!!!

When picking out dog show names it usuallyinvolved the breeder or the sire or dam names. My Siberian Husky isnamed Dakota TashaRoe. The first is what we picked out, the Tasha isfor her mother Natasha, and the Roe is from the dad, Romeur Boston Terrier, when growing up was Dusty of Tops Again. Tops Againwas the breeder.

Cinnabunny is only a pet but if I needed a show name it would probablybe Cinnabunny de Aaron (Aaron is my son). I might look into adding thelast name of the vet who saved her life.

Ha ha I just thought of a funny one.

I dont know the breeder where Pepper came from, but I got her from agarden centre called Seasons, so it could be "Seasoned with Pepper" LOL
