Would it be ok if I fed my bunnies bermuda hay instead of timothy hay? I am wondering because my horseback riding teacher uses bermuda hay for her horses and it would be a lot cheaper to buy some from her than buy the timothy hay at the store.

I got some for my bunnies and they didn't seem to like it. They will gobble up alfalfa and timothy, but the bermuda they will eat only a tiny bit then leave the rest. However, this is just their personal preference I guess, I don't know of any reason they shouldn't eat it.

Bermuda is all my bunny eats right now as far as hay. She does not like timothy much but I bought her a bale of bermuda and everyday she is as excited about it as she was when I first bought it. :)
