my friend really wants an angora rabbit but has no idea where to get one, she has tried looing up breeders but she really doesnt know where to start. i suggested rescue places so shes going to look in all the local shelters


any ideas or suggestions?

Has she checked Rabbit Rehome? Lots of different rabbit rescues advertise their rabbits there.

You can search by general breed type, and I found a few French angoras and several cashmere lops. Even if they are far away, some rescues are willing to work out transportation. The forum attached to Rabbit Rehome, Rabbits United, is great for finding people to help with transport in the UK.

Also, has she checked out the British Rabbit Council website?

They have breeder listings and show listings. She could check out a show near her to meet breeders and see if there are any angoras for sale.
