I know we are supposed to stay away because of the water content and it is pretty much useless...however...

in an emergency...if fluids were needed...would iceberg be an idea...or is it always a bad idea?

Was just thinking about buns not getting enough fluids...picky ones..that might eat the lettuce and wondering if it would do in a tight spot...

I actually think that you could feed a small amount of iceberg lettuce; it is not like 'poison" or anything , however I would never feed it to a really young rabbit and see no point in feeding it at all if other veggies are available
If a rabbit needs more water just wash the veggies and leave them wet when feeding

I wouldn't use iceberg for any medicinal purposes

:yeahthat:

It could be useful if the rabbit just won't let you syringe them water as well. My guys also don't like iceberg--I've tried to give them a tiny string of it from a sub sandwich and they were uninterested.
