I have just discovered that my rabbit Miko (young, male, desexed, mix breed) has Malocclusion, I have been reading up on possible treatments and have decided that it would be best for him to get the affected teeth removed rather then him (and me) going through the stress of having them trimmed regularly... I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with a rabbit that has Malocclusion and how they treated it/if anyone has a rabbit that has had its teeth removed how does it affect the rabbit? Also do vets usually remove both top and bottom incisors or only the affected ones?

I do not believe that his teeth have caused him any discomfort yet so I would like to get onto this as soon as possible.

No experience with it, but it can be a good option for some rabbits, when dentals are too frequent and/or too stressful for the bun. The accounts I've read of, the buns seem to adapt well. Sometimes the hay and veggies need to be cut up into smaller pieces, but it seems to just depend on the rabbit. Yes, both the bottom and top incisors have to be removed, otherwise you would still need to have teeth trimmed. One thing to keep in mind is that sometimes after extraction, the teeth regrow and surgery would need to be done again.
