Sitting and "playing" in her water bowl?

I have never had a bunny not use a water bottle so can't give much advice there. But have you tried using like the metal bowls that can be attached on a hanger onto the side of the bars like in parrot cages?

    Little Gem Lettuce??

The only other thing that it says on the packet is: 'a sweet variety, great for pasta or fish dishes'. It looks like this:www.nickys-nursery.co.uk/seeds/VEG051.jpg Just seen that they are small romaine lettuces.... are these ok?

Can you not show fixed bunnies in the UK too or is it just in the us? I understand how it is to want to the genes to be passed on for a next generation, but what about us pet owners who have one or two buns that we would like tho show for fun, after all rabbit spaying and neutering is highly...

    UK Shows

Thank you very much, I didn't know what the BRC was to look for it :) ETA: Just had a look on the showslist and I think it is very confusing, underneath each date is that a list of separate shows or clubs that will be at the one show? And how do I find exactly where they are like an address?

    Hello

Welcome to the forum, am sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved bunnie. Layla is very pretty well done for taking her on. Must admit I lover her name too (one of my cats is called Layla too).

What's the background behind your bun's name?

Splodge was named after the splodge of colour on his back. With Chloe, I picked her out when she was only a couple of weeks old and I didn't know whether she would be a boy or a girl so it was going to be Cleo for a boy or Chloe for a girl.

Can my rabbit get sick from me?

You cannot pass cold or flu virus to your rabbit but you can with ferrets and hamsters.

    Out of curiousity..

The oldest bunny I have owned we had for 13.5 years when he passed on. He was left abandoned and some kids were trying to suffocate him in bags, he was estimated to be 2 years old when we took him in so around 15.5 years old. He was an un neutered bun who lived outside and never had a single...

do you perfer a dish or bottle

I prefer bottles and have always used these, they seem more 'sanitary' to me really. The water is not out in the open air so to speak and it stops bits of food/substrate/bedding and hair going into a bowl.
