Rabbits don't suffer in temps above 45F. It's far safer to have rabbits in the cold than the summer heat. If you are that worried about him, cover half the front of the hutch so he has a wind free area. Or give him a bunch of straw to tunnel into when he feels he needs to warm up.

Some bucks thump their back foot after a successful mating. Not sure where that comes from, since in the wild, that would be a very stupid thing for rabbits to be doing.
